COQUITLAM, B.C., Feb. 22, 2023 – If you’re looking for a fun and rewarding place to build a career – then mark your calendars and join us at Glen Pine Pavilion on Saturday, March 4. 

The City of Coquitlam is hosting a job fair focused on positions in our parks, recreation and culture division on Saturday, March 4 from 12 – 4 p.m. at Glen Pine Pavilion (1200 Glen Pine Ct.).

City staff working in parks, recreation, culture and human resources will be on hand to provide information about current or upcoming positions in recreation, walk you through the online application process, and share tips and tricks on how you can make your application stand out.

Glen Pine has parking onsite and is also easily accessible by public transit, including from the Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station.

Great Opportunities for Flexible and Part-Time Work

In addition to full-time opportunities, Coquitlam has a number of part-time and auxiliary opportunities including: 

  • Recreation instructors
  • Supervisors
  • Lifeguards
  • Fitness staff
  • Children and youth program leads
  • Event staff

If you have a passion for skating, swimming, events, fitness or other recreation-related activities, you could gain valuable work experience at the City while learning new skills that can help advance your career.
