Rates for Coquitlam’s recreation drop-in activities and ONE PASS are staying the same this year.
COQUITLAM, B.C., March 30, 2023 – Rates for Coquitlam’s recreation drop-in activities and ONE PASS are staying the same this year.
Coquitlam is encouraging residents to stay active and engaged by freezing drop-in recreation admission fees until March 31, 2024. Consistent rates for drop-in activities and ONE PASS, as well as a variety of other recreation support programs, help reduce barriers and improve access to recreation in our community. Find out more at www.coquitlam.ca/registration.
In addition to weekly low-cost drop-in activities and the convenient ONE PASS, which provides discounts on drop-in aquatics, arena, fitness and gymnasium activities across the city, Coquitlam also offers:
- Financial Assistance for Recreation (FAR) program: Eligible Coquitlam residents seeking financial assistance to support their recreation and fitness needs can apply to the City’s FAR program to receive a 50 drop-in pass and a $225 credit towards recreation activities, passes and programs for each eligible family member.
- Recreation inclusion: Our Recreation staff regularly develop strategies for reducing barriers and encouraging participation. For example, patrons who require direct support to safely enjoy our services can bring a support person at no additional cost.
- Grade 5 and 6 Active passes: Valid for a year starting each September, the Grade 5 Get Active! pass provides unlimited free admissions to all drop-in activities and the Grade 6 Stay Active! pass provides 12 free admissions.
