[ARCHIVED] Friday Nights Just Got Better: Free Summer Concerts in the Park

Coquitlam’s Summer Concert Series is back for another exciting season. Get ready to enjoy some free, family-friendly fun with a spectacular musical line-up for 2025.

COQUITLAM, B.C., June 10, 2025 – Coquitlam’s Summer Concert Series is back for another exciting season. Get ready to enjoy some free, family-friendly fun with a spectacular musical line-up for 2025. 

Pack a snack or grab a bite onsite on any (or all) of three Friday concerts this summer. All three shows (July 18, August 1 and September 5) take place at the Town Centre Park Community Plaza. The series is sponsored, in part, by Corporate Partners such as Polygon Homes and Vancity Credit Union.

2025 Summer Concert Series Lineup 

This year’s powerhouse performers will be on stage for two full 45-minute sets each night, helping make your Summer Concert Series experience one of the best nights of the summer.

Friday, July 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. 

  • Bobby Bruce's Nearly Neil and the Solitary Band: Enjoy a world-class tribute to Neil Diamond with Bobby Bruce as Nearly Neil. A Port Coquitlam native, Bobby has spent over 30 years captivating audiences worldwide with his charismatic and high-energy performances. Joined by the talented Solitary Band, he brings Neil Diamond’s timeless hits to life with passion and authenticity. Get ready to sing your heart out to "Sweet Caroline" and dance the night away!

Friday, August 1 from 7 to 9 p.m.

  • Karen Lee Batten: Batten brings powerhouse vocals and undeniable energy to the stage. A Canadian Idol Top 10 finalist, she has since made waves in the country music scene with multiple award-winning albums, chart-topping singles, and performances at major festivals. With a soulful blend of country, rock and blues, Karen Lee delivers a dynamic show that leaves a lasting impression. Bring your cowboy hats and boots—it’s time for a country night you won’t forget!

Friday, September 5 from 7 to 9 p.m.,

Sing along to classics like "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," and "Waterloo" in a high-energy performance that will have you dancing from start to finish.
