COQUITLAM, B.C., February 13, 2024  Coquitlam is proud to be named one of BC’s Top Employers for the seventh year in a row, reflecting an ongoing commitment to nurturing and advancing City staff to continuously enhance service excellence and innovation for our community.

In the annual competition held by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, the awards recognize B.C. employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

Applicants are evaluated on nine criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement. Find out more at https://bit.ly/Coquitlam-TopEmployer2024.

Nominees are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs. Coquitlam is one of only four Metro Vancouver municipalities to have been awarded this distinction for 2024.

The City of Coquitlam is committed to supporting employee growth and retention by creating formal and informal opportunities for training and advancement.
