[ARCHIVED] Register for May and June Recreation Programs April 14

COQUITLAM, B.C., April 8, 2021 – Coquitlam’s popular monthly recreation programs will continue in May and June, with registration for both months beginning Wednesday, April 14.

Program listing details will be viewable online Monday, April 12 at www.coquitlam.ca/registration. Online registration is available 24/7 starting Wednesday, April 14 at 8:30 a.m. Phone-in registration is available as of Thursday, April 15 at 604-927-4386, weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except for statutory holidays) and weekends 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Variety of Programs 

New programs in May and June include an ‘Explore the World’ series of programs for early years children; outdoor sports for kids, including soccer and tennis; YOUth league sports with an emphasis on skills and drills; and virtual outdoor recreation workshops and virtual outdoor recreation workshops as you get prepared for the upcoming hiking season and spending more time in nature. There’s something for all nature lovers, from Nature Identification for Beginners to Backpacking and Wilderness Camping. 

All levels of fitness programs are available in person outside or virtually, including Cycle, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Latin Dance, Low Impact, Yoga and more, as well as skating and swimming lessons, art, language and music offerings. Register for Acrylic and Water Colour Painting, English and Spanish Language Learners, or Guitar and Ukulele.

Coquitlam Recreation is continually adapting to meet the requirements of updated Public Health Orders and we appreciate your patience as we may need to make last minute changes.

Safety protocols are in place at all City facilities to ensure the safety of program participants and staff. In compliance with the Provincial Mask Mandate Order, masks are required at all times, including when exercising. 

If programs are cancelled due to Provincial Health Orders, customers will receive an account credit, or you can request a refund on your original method of payment. Please call 604-927-4386 for assistance.
