Plan ahead - be aware and get prepared! Make sure you have an emergency kit with extra food, water, supplies for children and infants, and medication. We also recommend you have an emergency kit for your vehicle with a bottle of water, flashlight, a blanket or thermal wrap, some cash and a few protein bars in case you get stranded.
We also recommend you only drive with good snow tires and stock up on salt, sand and other supplies before the snow begins to fall.
We have additional information and resources available on our Winter Preparedness and Safety page.
