City-Owned Land Sales

The City of Coquitlam strategically acquires and sells lands in a way that ensures maximum benefit to the community. Land-sale proceeds are reinvested in the community, with a portion of each sale set aside for future strategic purchases.

Coquitlam’s City Lands Division represents the City as land and property owner and provides advice and assistance in the leasehold and freehold purchase and sale of City-controlled real estate assets.

The City of Coquitlam owns a number of properties, including commercial, industrial, mixed-use lots and residential development sites, that are periodically offered for sale.
